AMBAR notebooks have accompanied generations of Portuguese over the past 75 years. Milestones of that period using the paper notebooks and their sheets were recreated while celebrating the brand's memory.
The visual concepts with all its stories would generate press ads, posters, social networks, and a visual chronology to explore on the AMBAR website.
1940 - Portuguese World Exhibition.
1948 The Big Bang theory is released.
1949 - Portuguese physician Egas Moniz wins the Nobel Prize for Medicine.
1953 - Discovery of DNA. The molecule of life.
1959 - Inauguration of the Lisbon Underground.
1974 - The Carnation Revolution. On the 25 th of April, Portugal wakes up to Freedom.
1980 - The container ship Tolan sank in front of Lisbon's main square.
1989 - Fall of the Berlin Wall.
1998 - José Saramago is awarded the first Nobel Prize for literature in the Portuguese language.
1999 - João Garcia is the first Portuguese ever to conquer the Everest.
2001 - 9/11. The World Trade Center is under attack.
2011 - Garreth Mcnamara surfs the world's largest wave at Nazaré.
